Your Gateway to Underwater Exploration
Course Objective
This course equips new divers with the essential skills, safety knowledge, and experience needed to enjoy recreational diving up to their certification depth. You’ll build confidence and competence both in the classroom and in the water.
Course Structure
32–40 hours of instruction, including:
• Classroom theory sessions
• Pool or confined water practice
• Open water training dives
All training follows or exceeds the World Recreational Scuba Training Council (WRSTC) standards. Our SEI-certified instructors adapt training to suit local conditions when needed.
Prerequisites
• Age 15 or older (ages 12–14 may enroll as Junior Open Water Scuba Divers)
• Completed Medical Questionnaire or doctor’s clearance
• Signed Statement of Understanding, Waiver & Release (by parent/guardian if under 18)
• Swim Test Requirements (prior to scuba training):
200-yard surface swim
25-foot underwater swim (no push-off)
10-minute survival float or treading water
